As a member of the InstructorClub you and any family member are able to make use of our free accident management service provided by MSL this service is for any non fault accident claim the club scheme will provide you or a member of the family with a replacement vehicle including dual controls where required for an unlimited period.
MSL will provide
•up to £100,000 of legal costs and expenses in connection with a claim against the fault party
•the cost of arranging a replacement vehicle and repairs to the policyholder’s vehicle
•up to £1,000 towards legal costs and expenses incurred by the policyholder when defending a prosecution for a motoring offence
•access to a 24hour freephone helpline
•access to MSL’s panel of specialist solicitors
Helpline: In a motor accident that is not the policyholder’s fault, the MSL 24-hour freephone helpline on 0800 387165 is available for fast, friendly advice.
A Replacement Vehicle: If involved in a motor accident that is not the policyholder’s fault, MSL will keep them mobile by arranging a hire vehicle suitable for their needs and will recover the cost directly from the fault party on their behalf.
Credit Repair: If, in the view of MSL, the accident is clearly non-fault and full details of the other party involved are available, an MSL appointed repairer will carry out repairs with the costs being recovered, directly from the other party. If third-party insured, the policyholder will not have to fund the repairs. If comprehensively insured, they may wish to use this service to avoid payment of his or her excess.
Motor Prosecution Defence: If, as an insured driver, the policyholder needs to appoint a solicitor to defend them in a particular motor prosecution (other than a parking offence), KeyStart can assist.
Personal Injury Compensation: The policyholder is entitled to compensation for injuries suffered by themself or their passengers as innocent victims of a road traffic accident.
Policy Excess: If the policyholder has paid a policy excess as a result of a non-fault accident, it can be recovered as part of the claim.
Loss of Earnings: If the policyholder is unable to work as a result of the accident, with KeyStart losses can be included in the claim.
Vehicle Recovery and Storage: If, as a result of the accident, the policyholder’s vehicle cannot be driven, reasonable costs for recovery and storage can also be included in the claim.
Total Loss Negotiation/Valuation Service: If the policyholder’s vehicle is a total loss and valuation is disputed, MSL will assist in negotiations.
Medical Fees: If the policyholder has been injured they can recover reasonable medical costs incurred.
Legal Representation: With KeyStart, the policyholder has access to both MSL’s In-House accident experts and a nation-wide panel of solicitors who specialise in road traffic accidents.
